高粱各性狀之遺傳育種研究
Ⅰ、雜交高粱第一代之單寧含量及種皮顏色之表現

摘　　要

　　本 試 驗 針 對 以 改 良 台 中 5 號 雜 種 高 粱 之 單 寧 含 量 ， 期 能 降 低 其 種 子 之 罹 病 率 進 而 改 善 其 發 芽 率 不 良 之 缺 點 。 乃 以 TUI-1 、 TUI-2 、 TUI-3 及 TUI-4 等 四 個 具 不 同 單 寧 含 量 特 性 蠟 質 基 因 同 源 系 (isogenic line) 為 材 料 ， 初 步 進 行 包 括 台 中 五 號 親 本 81A 及 2R ， 與 四 組 同 源 系 和 80A 雜 交 之 F₁ 種 子 等 之 單 寧 分 析 ， 所 獲 結 果 綜 合 如 下 ：

(1) 同 源 系 TUI-1 、 TUI-2 、 TUI-3 及 TUI-4 之 種 實 外 觀 顏 色 分 別 乳 白 色 ， 乳 白 色 帶 紅 斑 ， 棕 色 及 棕 色 帶 紅 斑 。 單 寧 分 析 結 果 分 別 為 0.04 、 0.83 、 3.28 及 8.93% 。 80A 則 為 0.11% ， 而 2R 則 為 0.20% 。

(2) 雜 交 F₁ 種 子 之 單 寧 分 析 顯 示 80A 與 TUI-1 等 四 組 同 源 系 所 得 之 雜 交 F₁ 組 合 ， 其 單 寧 含 量 分 別 為 0.07 、 0.10 、 0.14 及 0.57% ， 較 其 父 母 本 平 均 含 量 分 別 低 約 0.01 、 0.37 、 1.56 及 3.95% 。 對 照 組 合 台 中 5 號 (80A×2R) 則 有 0.13% ， 較 其 父 母 本 平 均 含 量 0.03% 。 此 顯 示 父 母 本 純 系 之 單 寧 含 量 與 種 實 外 觀 之 顏 色 由 淺 而 深 有 逐 漸 增 加 之 趨 勢 。 不 同 單 寧 含 量 之 同 源 系 與 同 一 細 胞 質 雄 不 稔 系 統 80A 之 雜 交 F₁ 種 子 其 單 寧 含 量 之 變 化 與 同 源 系 親 本 之 含 量 有 相 同 之 趨 勢 。 一 般 而 言 F₁ 之 單 寧 含 量 較 各 組 合 雙 親 之 平 均 含 量 為 低 。

Genetic and Breeding Studies on Various Characters in Grain Sorghum

I. Expression of Coloration and Tannin Content of Grains F ₁'s Compare with Parental Varieties

Summary

　　Tannin content and coloration of seeds of sorghum were studied to evaluate the possibility of improving seed germinability of hybrid sorghum Taichung 5. Taichung 5 (80A x 2R) is lower in tannin content and easy to be infected by diseases resulted in the low germinability.

　　Four wax isogenic lines of different tannin content and colorations of seeds crossed with cytoplasmic male sterile line 80A and the expression of tannin content and coloration of F₁'s were evaluated in comparison with the respective parental lines.

　　The grain color of four isogenic lines TUI-1, TUI-2, TUI-3 and TUI-4 were milky, milky with red spots, brown and brown with red spots, respectively, which contained 0.04, 0.83, 3.28 and 8.93% of tannin, respectively. The tannin content of CMS line 80A and restorer line, 2R was 0.11% and 0.20% respectively.

　　The tannin content of F₁ hybrid; 80A x TUI-1, 80A x TUI-2, 80A x TUI-3, 80A x TUI-4 and 80A x 2R (Taichung 5) were, 0.07, 0.10, 0.14, 0.57 ad 0.13 respectively. These value are comparable with those of their parental line. However, these value were lower than the average value (mid-parent) of each parent. The results of the preliminary studies indicated that the brownish coloration and high tannin content are relative in F₁ hybrids. Futher studies are needed to evaluate the relationship among coloration, tannin content and other characters of sorghum grains.
