　　 本研究係針對手扶式半自動雙行蔬菜移植機再加以改良，其中種植株距調整機構改採鏈條箱更換鏈輪的作業方式，自 33 cm 至 55 cm 具十種選擇；盛苗轉盤加裝單向傳動保護裝置，可避免倒車時反向迴轉而損傷機件；盛苗內杯顏色變更為灰、綠相間，亦可降低種植缺株比；下雨過後換裝鐵輪進行測試後發現， 本機較不適用於 畦面潮濕、畦溝內積水的條件下 操作 ，若為爭取農時而搶種，建議至少等雨停後六小時以上方可應用之。而比較機械與人工移植對菜苗生育影響之試驗結果顯示，甘藍以本移植機或人工作業在定植後的三週內，不論是園藝性狀或平均生長速率均無顯著的差異。

　　 The objective of this research was to improve and to test the defect of the semi-automatic two-row vegetable seedling transplanter. Those improvements included that the mechanism of planting distance adjustment was varied using a chain gear set which could be adjusted from 33 cm to 55 cm in 10 speeds. The seedling roulette was improved by adding a one-way protection mechanism for avoiding the damage from reversing, and the cups of roulette were changed in intercrossed gray and green colors for avoiding confusion and decreasing the ratio of missed planting. The results of changing steel wheels for muddy field showed that this machine is not suitable for being operated in the conditions of muddy ridge surface or muddy furrow. The suggestion of using this machine for urgent work in rainy season is that the application of the machine has to be put off for 6 hours or more after raining. The comparison of this machine on the labor planting in the first 3 weeks showed no significant difference for the growth of cabbages using two planting methods, neither for the growing speed nor for other growing conditions.
