抗銹病扁莢菜豆新品系選育

摘　　要

　　本 研 究 之 目 的 為 選 育 具 抗 銹 病 之 扁 莢 菜 豆 品 種，以 減 少 病 害 防 治 成 本，增 進 菜 豆 品 質，提 供 菜 豆 栽 培 者 優 良 品 種。試 驗 於 1992年 由 美 國 農 部 引 進 15個 抗 銹 病 菜 豆 品 種，次 年 進 行 觀 察 試 驗 時，發 現 其 中 PI 1924-s-5之 園 藝 性 狀 尚 在 分 離，經 選 拔 及 進 行 品 系 試 驗 並 於 不 同 地 區 栽 培，結 果 顯 示 RR-83-09，RR-83-11，RR-83-12等 三 個 新 品 系 之 抗 銹 病 性 反 應 皆 為 極 抗。而 其 嫩 莢 長 度、厚 度、單 莢 重，皆 優 於 對 照 品 種，並 具 特 殊 口 感。春 作 產 量 比 對 照 品 種 屏 東 大 莢 各 增 產 63.7%、74.9%，值 得 繼 續 進 一 步 試 驗，以 選 拔 優 良 品 種，俾 供 推 廣 栽 培。

Selection of New Rust-resistant Lines of the Flat-pod Common Bean

Summary

　　The purpose of this study was to select rust-resistant varieties of flat-pod common bean. In order to prevent the disease and to decrease the cost of plant protection and to promote the quality of common bean, fifteen rust-resistant varieties were introduced from USDA in 1992 for trial in the field. The lines of PI 1924-s-5 ware segregated and selected for comparison of hoticultural characteristics. The results of the trial in the different locations showed that the two lines RR-83-09 and RR-83-11 were very resistant to rust disease. In addition, pod length and pod height were better than that of the control variety. The yields of spring crop of these two lines were 63.7% and 74.9% higher than that of the contral variety, respectively.
