第二期作水稻品種台中秈10號之移植期對產量及米質之影響

摘　　要

　　臺 灣 中 部 地 區 第 二 期 作 水 稻 之 移 植 時 間 為 七 月 下 旬 至 八 月 上 旬 ， 本 試 驗 目 的 在 探 討 延 遲 栽 植 時 間 對 臺 中 秈 10 號 水 稻 品 種 產 量 及 品 質 性 狀 的 影 響 。 試 驗 結 果 發 現 如 延 後 移 植 時 間 15 日 ， 則 抽 穗 期 及 成 熟 期 分 別 延 後 29 及 39 日 ， 主 要 係 受 低 溫 之 作 用 ； 稻 穀 產 量 亦 大 幅 下 降 65% ， 影 響 產 量 表 現 的 最 主 要 因 子 為 結 實 率 與 千 粒 重 。 延 遲 移 植 處 理 降 低 糙 米 粒 寬 及 稻 穀 與 糙 米 之 容 重 量 ， 由 於 影 響 穀 粒 充 實 ， 使 稻 米 蛋 白 質 含 量 顯 著 上 升 ， 同 時 使 直 鏈 性 澱 粉 含 量 下 降 。 晚 植 因 可 影 響 裡 作 及 降 低 產 量 與 品 質 ， 故 第 二 期 作 栽 培 臺 中 秈 10 號 品 種 時 ， 仍 以 提 早 插 植 較 為 理 想 。

Influence of Planting Time on the Yield and Quality Characteristics of Rice cv. Taichung Sen 10 Grown in the Second Crop Season

Summary

　　The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of late planting on the performance of yield and quality characteristics of indica rice cv. Tai- chung Sen 10 grown in the second crop season in central Taiwan. It was found that delay of transplanting from August 5 to August 20 could extend the days needed to heading and maturity by 29 and 39 days, respectively. Low temperature was considered as the main factor in affecting the growth duration of rice plants. In comparison with normal-planting treatment, a decrease of 65% in grain yield was recorded as a result of reduced filled-grain percentage and 1,000-grain weight for late-planting plants. Delay of transplanting also tended to decrease the width of brown rice and volume weight of both rough and brown rice. The protein content of rice grain increased while amylose content decreased significantly in response to late planting, presumably the result of abnormal starch synthesis and accumulation. Based on the consideration of economic land utilization, stable yield and high grain quality, early planting of Taichung Sen 10 cultivar in the second crop season was suggested.
