水稻抗病蟲及米質之育種

摘　　要

　　本 研 究 從 西 元 1987 年 至 1991 年 在 台 中 區 農 業 改 良 場 進 行 ， 為 育 成 秈 稻 抗 多 種 病 害 蟲 及 優 良 米 質 之 品 種 。 結 果 顯 示 台 秈 糯 育 14 、 1155 、 1162 號 及 台 秈 育 368 、 1577 號 等 五 個 品 系 可 抗 稻 熱 病 、 白 葉 枯 病 、 縞 葉 枯 病 、 褐 飛 蝨 及 白 背 飛 蝨 等 多 種 病 害 蟲 。 其 中 台 秈 糯 育 14 、 1155 、 1162 號 之 產 量 超 過 台 中 秈 糯 1 號 0.5 ～ 13.8% ， 屬 於 直 鏈 性 澱 粉 較 低 之 糯 稻 ， 且 具 低 膠 化 溫 度 、 軟 凝 膠 展 延 性 及 米 質 優 良 。 而 台 秈 育 368 、 1577 號 之 產 量 超 過 台 中 秈 10 號 3.9 ～ 5.8% ， 則 屬 於 低 直 鏈 性 澱 粉 、 低 膠 化 溫 度 、 軟 凝 膠 展 延 性 、 碾 米 性 高 及 食 味 品 質 優 良 之 秈 型 稻 。 本 試 驗 結 果 顯 示 水 稻 抗 病 抗 蟲 性 可 與 稻 米 品 質 、 產 量 及 其 他 優 良 農 藝 性 狀 結 合 並 存 。

Rice Breeding for Pests Resistance and its Quality

Summary

　　Present study was conducted at Taichung District Agricultural Improvement Station from 1987 to 1991, aiming to breed indica rice varieties with resistance to rice pests and good rice quality. Results indicated that five lines of Tai Sen (Waxy) 14, 1155, 1162 and Tai Sen 368, 1577 showed resistance to blast, bacterial blight, rice stripe disease, brown planthopper and white back plant hopper. The yield of Tai Sen (Waxy) 14, 1155, 1162 were 0.5-13.8% higher than that of check variety, Taichung Sen (Waxy) 1. Those lines possessed low amylose waxy rice, low gelatinization temperature, soft gel consistency and good rice quality. The yield of Tai Sen 368, 1577 were 3.9-5.8 % higher than that of check variety Taichung Sen 10. Those lines had a good percentage of head rice, low amylose, low gelatinization temperature, soft gel consistency, high milled quality and good eating rice quality. The characters of pests resistance of rice plants can be combined and coexisted with the characters of rice quality, grain yield and other agronomic characters.
