褐飛蝨生物小種之區辨及水稻品種之抗性反應

摘　　要

　　區 辨 不 同 褐 飛 蝨 生 物 小 種 ， 發 現 第 一 型 生 物 小 種 (飼 育 於 T(N)1 上) 體 形 最 大 ， 體 重 最 重 ， 且 於 不 同 品 種 上 之 若 蟲 期 、 若 蟲 生 存 率 等 反 應 差 異 極 為 顯 著 而 自 成 一 群 ， 第 二 型 生 物 小 種 (飼 育 於 Mudgo 上) 體 形 ， 體 重 最 小 ， 但 對 各 品 種 均 能 適 存 為 侵 害 能 力 最 強 之 一 群 ， 3A 及 3B 型 生 物 小 種 (分 別 飼 育 於 H101 及 Samba) 各 方 面 表 現 一 致 ， 應 屬 同 型 ， 一 般 而 言 各 生 物 小 種 對 其 抗 性 品 種 (系) ， 均 呈 若 蟲 存 活 率 降 低 ， 若 蟲 期 延 長 ， 非 偏 好 等 反 應 。 同 時 以 集 團 苗 期 測 驗 十 個 品 種 ， 顯 示 T(N)1 與 TKM6 二 品 種 對 三 種 褐 飛 蝨 生 物 小 種 均 呈 極 感 性 ， ASD7 與 IR1541 二 品 種 除 抗 第 一 型 生 物 小 種 外 ， 對 其 他 生 物 小 種 均 呈 感 性 ； 嘉 農 秈 11 號 、 嘉 農 秈 育 13 號 和 新 竹 矮 腳 尖 則 對 第 一 、 第 二 型 生 物 小 種 為 抗 性 ， 但 對 3A 及 3B 型 為 感 性 ； 而 IR9-60 、 JP5 和 Mudgo 共 對 第 二 型 生 物 小 種 呈 感 性 ， 對 其 他 三 種 生 物 小 種 均 為 極 抗 反 應 。

The Comparison of Different Biotypes of Brown Planthopper and the Reaction of Several Rice Varieties

Summary

　　Studies were conducted on the comparison of morphology, ecology and host preference in 4 biotypes of brown planthopper as well as the reaction of resistance in 10 rice cultivars to these biotypes.

　　Biotype 1 (reared on T(N) 1) is the heaviest in body weight and the longest in body length, it showed a very distinct difference on the reaction to various rice cultivars. Biotype 2 (reared on Mudgo) is the most destructive colony although it is the smallest and lightest among all of these 4 biotypes. Biotype 3A and 3B (reared on H105 and Samba, respectively) are believed to be the same colony for they having the same reactions to selected rice cultivars and being similar in ecology and morphology. It showed the extension of nymphal duration, reduction of nymphal survival, as well as nonpreference while each biotype was reared on resistant varieties.

　　The reactions of resistance to different biotypes of brown planthopper in 10 rice cultivars was studied in the green house with the bulk seedling test. T(N) 1 and TKM 6 showed high susceptibility to all biotypes, while ASD 7 and IR 1541 were susceptible to three of them, except biotype 1. CNS XI, CNS XIII and Hsinchu-I-geo-gen were resistant to biotype 1 and biotype 2, nevertheless they were susceptible to biotypes 3A and 3B; rice varieties in IR 9-60, JP 5 and Mudgo were highly resistant to biotype 1, 3A, and 3B but susceptible to biotype 2.
