番茄新品種－台中亞蔬四號

摘　　要

　　於 民 國 75 年 向 亞 洲 蔬 菜 研 究 發 展 中 心 引 進 fmtt 品 系 4～ 6 種 ， 經 本 場 負 責 區 域 試 驗 及 地 方 試 作 選 拔 出 亞 蔬 "FMTT 22"品 系 ， 於 78 年 7 月 經 蔬 菜 新 品 種 命 名 審 查 小 組 審 查 通 過 ， 正 式 命 名 為 『台 中 亞 蔬 四 號』 ， 准 予 推 廣 。

　　台 中 亞 蔬 四 號 屬 非 停 心 型 ， 生 育 旺 盛 ， 蔓 長 無 限 ， 葉 覆 蓋 中 等 ， 單 總 狀 花 序 ， 每 隔 3 節 著 生 一 花 序 ， 每 花 序 著 生 8 ～ 12 朵 花 。 結 果 率 秋 作 84%， 平 地 夏 作 28%， 中 海 拔 地 區 夏 作 80 ～ 90% 。 果 實 高 球 型 ， 未 熟 果 淡 青 色 ， 成 熟 果 紅 色 ， 輕 微 皺 摺 ， 平 均 果 重 70～ 150 公 克 ， 硬 度 中 等 ， 夏 作 裂 果 輕 微 ， 果 壁 厚 9 mm， 4～ 5 心 室 ， 糖 度 5.7° 。 果 實 於 定 植 後 54 ～ 79 天 可 開 始 採 收 ， 產 期 達 32 ～ 70 天 ， 全 生 育 期 107 ～ 145 天 。 每 公 頃 生 果 產 量 平 均 夏 作 10 ～ 24 噸 ， 平 地 晚 夏 作 65 公 噸 ， 平 地 秋 作 110 公 噸 ， 海 拔 500 ～ 1000 公 尺 山 坡 地 夏 作 平 均 51 ～ 63.7 公 噸 。 本 品 種 為 一 代 雜 交 種 ， 耐 熱 性 較 強 ， 具 有 高 溫 結 果 性 。 本 省 平 地 6 月 中 旬 至 翌 年 3 月 均 可 播 種 ， 中 海 拔 地 區 山 坡 地 於 3 月 中 旬 至 7 月 上 旬 均 可 播 種 。

　　本 品 種 具 有 中 抗 青 枯 病 及 抗 番 茄 嵌 紋 毒 素 病 (tomato mosaic virus) ， 裂 果 輕 微 等 特 性 ， 是 適 合 夏 季 栽 培 的 優 良 品 種 。 且 栽 培 容 易 ， 產 量 高 ， 將 對 提 供 及 穩 定 夏 季 蔬 果 供 應 助 益 很 大 。

Summary

　　Taichung Asveg No. 4 (TA 4) was tested as “FMTT 22” which was selected by this Station from AVRDC fresh tomato breeding lines after regional and local yield trials. It was registered and released in July 1989.

　　TA 4 is an indeterminate, very vigorous and moderate spreading fresh tomato variety. Complex inflorescence bearing flower cluster every 3 nodes, each cluster have 8 to 12 flowers. Average fruit-setting rate for fall crop is 84%, for summer crop is 28% and 80-90% at lowland and highland areas, respectively.

　　The fruits are deep oblate in shape, with 4-5 locules, fruit weight varies between 70 and 150g, fruit wall is 9 mm in width. The fruit are medium firmness, sugar content is 5.7°Brix, immature fruit has light green shoulder and ripe fruit is bright red with slight wrinkle on top. Fruits may be cracked in summer crop.

　　Fruits begin to harvest at 54-79 days after transplanting. The harvest period is about 32-70 days. Full growth period is 107-145 days. The average yield at lowland area for summer and late summer crops are 10-24 and 65 t/ha, respectively; for fall crop is 110 t/ha, at highland area for summer crop is 51-63.7 t/ha.

　　TA 4 is an F₁ hybrid, heat tolerant, good fruit-setting under high temperature. The planting date at lowland area is from mid-June to March; at highland area is from mid-May to early July. TA 4 is slightly resistant to Fusarium wilt and highly resistant to tomato mosaic virus, high yielding, and is specially adapted for summer production.
