Screening microorganisms are applied to mass production technologies and production methods such as rice straw decomposition, biological composting, kitchen waste composting and organic liquid fertilizers, and agricultural by-products such as rice straw, bagasse, mushroom residues, rice, rice bran, meal, and animal manure, convert it into a recyclable nutrient source or chicken coop litter for agricultural production systems to achieve the effects of weight reduction and value addition.
Th Bacillus amyloides Tcb45 microbial fertilizer has excellent phosphorus-solubilizing activity (1,200 micrograms/ml/day), which can convert ineffective phosphorus fixed in the soil into available phosphorus, allowing crops to absorb and improve the effectiveness of nutrient absorption. Application in the cultivation of leafy vegetables and fruit vegetables, the yield can be increased by 10~15%.
The development of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Tcba05 microbial pesticide can prevent and for the control of the bean wilt disease known as crop cancer and reduce the disease incidence rate by 60%. The products produced by the technology transfer industry were just launched in May 2010, and the sales amount in a single month has reached NT$ 260,000. Our R&D team won the Annual Outstanding Technology Transfer Elite Award of the Council of Agriculture for the application of this achievement in 2008. The TCTeb01 strain can infect lychee stink bug nymphs and adults, and its lethality rate reaches 80% when applied to litchi stink bug adults. Yeast treatment before citrus fruits are stored can reduce the disease attack rate by 60% after 56 days of storage.
Investigate the post-harvest diseases of guava and the types and proportions of storage diseases during low-temperature and long-term storage and transportation, screen the control effects of various antibacterial materials on guava storage diseases, establish guava post-harvest disease data, and screen out Natamycin's antibacterial materials and application concentration can reduce the disease incidence rate by 20% during low-temperature and long-term storage and transportation of guava.
We have developed many beneficial microorganisms and have been commissioned by National Chung Hsing University and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences to assist in establishing a microbial functional verification platform that can alleviate environmental adversity. Currently, four verification platforms have been successfully established, namely (1) Microbial biostimulants, including Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) and Cyclodipeptides (CDPs) detection and analysis and salt and drought tolerance evaluation technology. (2) The screening platform of the Microbial Induced Crop Related Stress Tolerance Regulation Fund analyzes microbial strains on crop root development, selects core regulatory genes related to microbial enhancement of crop environmental stress, and analyzes microbial transcriptomes of crop stress tolerance. (3) Technology for detecting microbial biofilms (non-biological surfaces and crop plants) and adjusting production fermentation formulas. Currently, Bacillus and Streptomyces biofilm detection technology has been established and a general formula for improving biofilms by Bacillus and Streptomyces has been completed. (4) Establish a phenotypic screening and verification platform for using microorganisms to alleviate low-temperature stress obstacles in fruit trees. The goal is to apply strains to alleviate low-temperature stress obstacles in papaya, such as screening, efficacy verification, dosage form preparation and application technology adjustment, etc., and accelerate the input of microbial preparations into crop weather-resistant crops. Time course of sexual application. At present, the four verification platforms have completed the detection of 13 strains of beneficial microorganisms in this field.
Since January 2016, 35 technology transfers of R&D achievements have been processed, with a total authorization fee of 17.05 million yuan, including microbial fertilizers and microbial pesticides whose physical and chemical properties and safety meet standardized production. Technology licensees produce products that are sold across the country, with applications covering agriculture, livestock, environmental protection and household food waste treatment, making positive contributions to the development of related agricultural industries.
