Goal：

• Conducting research on improving rural living conditions
• Integrating research, education, and promotional resources to guide the promotion of home economics education in the jurisdiction
• The dissemination and application of agricultural policies, new scientific knowledge, and information on consumption
• The work of farmer and consumer services

Personnel：

Two researchers (Master's degree: 2), two technicians and three contract workers

Facilities and Equipments：

1 Classroom for home economics internships, 1 Farmers and Consumers Service Center, and 1 Lecture theater.

• Study on Key Success Factors in the Use of Accounting Tools by Young Farmers in the Central Region
• Guidance on Safe Fruit Traceability Management Plan
• 2022 Annual Project on the Measure of Improving Agricultural Labor Shortage－Training Programs for Agricultural Labor Teams (Taichung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station)
• Resources Inventory and Demand Survey of Schools’ Food and Agriculture Education in Changhua Area

Future Research Prospect：

Under the main axis of national agricultural policies, the core goal is to use innovative technology to create outstanding professionalism, leading the modernization of the agriculture industry in central Taiwan for mutual prosperity. This involves dedicated efforts to promote agricultural technological research and the application of its outcomes.

Recent Research Results：

In recent years, our research office has focused on various areas including home economics classes and eco-friendly care for the elderly, the development of local delicacies using agricultural specialties, guidance for 'Field Moms' in managing businesses,4-H CLUB promotion, advocating for agricultural education, conducting agricultural technology seminars and policy briefings, offering professional guidance for small landowners in agriculture, providing human resource support, assisting in establishing traceability for agricultural products, offering consultations with agricultural experts, and providing services for both farmers and consumers.
