本土化有機介質應用於木瓜育苗之研究
(一)對木瓜幼苗生長之影響

摘　　要

　　本 研 究 目 的 在 於 探 討 利 用 牛 糞 、 稻 殼 、 蔗 渣 及 金 針 菇 類 太 空 包 廢 渣 等 本 土 化 有 機 廢 棄 物 對 木 瓜 幼 苗 生 長 之 影 響 ， 以 期 評 估 作 為 木 瓜 育 苗 介 質 材 料 之 適 用 性 。 由 試 驗 結 果 顯 示 ， 使 用 未 經 堆 積 腐 熟 之 牛 糞 為 育 苗 介 質 材 料 ， 對 木 瓜 種 子 發 芽 率 及 木 瓜 幼 苗 生 長 有 不 利 影 響 。 惟 如 將 牛 糞 、 稻 殼 、 金 針 菇 類 太 空 包 廢 渣 及 蔗 渣 等 本 土 化 有 機 廢 棄 物 經 過 適 當 的 堆 肥 化 作 用 ， 即 能 改 善 木 瓜 種 子 發 芽 率 及 木 瓜 幼 苗 存 活 率 ， 如 再 配 合 添 加 適 量 的 河 砂 或 泥 炭 苔 等 處 理 ， 更 有 助 於 提 昇 上 述 性 狀 。 另 木 瓜 幼 苗 地 上 部 株 高 、 根 長 及 全 株 乾 物 重 等 生 育 性 狀 與 堆 肥 介 質 養 分 含 量 之多 寡 有 密 切 關 聯 。

Summary

　　The objective of this research was to evaluate the effects of localized organic medium (dairy waste, rice hull, bagasse, and winter mushroom waste) on the growth of papaya seedlings. The results indicated that the treatments of matured organic wastes or appllied with sand (or peat moss) could improve the seed germination rate and seedling survival rate. There was significant relationship between the nutrient contents of matured organic medium and the growth of papaya seedling, in term of plant height, root length, and plant dry weight.
