Goal：

1. To breed and promote of upland crops such as soybean, groundnut, sorghum, job's tears, buckwheat, and wheat.
2. To breed and promote of special crops such as flax and Echinacea.
3. To advice on Upland and Special Crops in Central Taiwan.

Facilities and Equipments：

Combine harvester, Tractor, Two-wheel tractor, fertilizer sprayer, pesticides sprayer, corn thresher, job's tears thresher, job's tears huller, buckwheat huller, sugar cane juicer, branches grinder, NIR, SPAD 502, etc.

1. Research of breeding and cultivation techniques on sorghum for alcoholic drink
2. Research of breeding and cultivation techniques on job's tears for yield
3. Research of breeding and cultivation techniques on wheat for noodle flour
4. Research of breeding and cultivation techniques on flax and Echinacea
5. Research of breeding and cultivation techniques on groundnut for yield and peanut oil.
6. Research of breeding and cultivation techniques on soybean for high protein

Future Research Prospect：

1. Continuous breeding research of soybean, groundnut, job's tears, sorghum, wheat and Echinacea
2. Developing cultivation techniques and processed agricultural products of Central Taiwan upland and special crops in the future.
3. Breeding of stress tolerance wheat.
