  1. 2022-Through conducting questionnaire surveys involving advocate staff, this study analyzes the practice and application of technical module of practical food and agriculture education, as a reference for promotion course design about food and agriculture education. The purpose of this study includes: 1. establishing a set of framework and index for the food and agriculture education training module; 2. evaluating the content of the food and agriculture education training module and its results. 3. accomplishing an advanced technical version for practical food and agriculture education training module and understanding its practical application.
     
  2. 2022-Based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), incorporating relative advantage and compatibility as external variables and security as the research framework, the study aimed to explore young farmers' attitudes and willingness toward the current accounting tools they use. The research findings indicate the following: relative advantage and compatibility significantly positively influence the perceived ease of use of accounting tools. Perceived ease of use significantly positively affects perceived usefulness and usage attitude towards accounting tools. Perceived usefulness significantly positively influences usage attitude and willingness to use accounting tools.
     
  3. 2021-This study focuses on young farmers who engage in farm accounting. It explores the current status and behaviors of farm income and expenditure accounting, examining the characteristics of operators and farm specifics. The aim is to understand the financial management practices and the need for financial analysis among young farmers. Additionally, it evaluates the learning, application, and guidance conditions concerning the 'Agriculture Income Recording' software. Utilizing qualitative research methods, the study involves purposive sampling of six young fruit tree farmers in the central region. Data is collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed accordingly. The research findings can serve as a reference for relevant organizations in planning accounting training courses and shaping future guidance directions.
     
  4. 2021-Utilizing a qualitative in-depth interview approach and semi-structured questionnaires, this study investigated six young farmers in the vegetable industry within the central region. Through case study analysis, the interview transcripts were coded, converging and summarizing associations to assist young farmers in understanding their own operational situations. These findings are intended to serve as a reference for relevant entities in guiding future agricultural practices. The research revealed that although young farmers have a conceptual understanding of costs, they struggle to grasp production costs for crops. It is recommended to start with basic accounting to comprehend production costs as crucial operational data for the future. Customized accounting systems could be developed to precisely record production costs, facilitating necessary information for effective financial management. Participation in agricultural financial management courses, along with step-by-step utilization of learned methods and guidance application, could help establish comprehensive farm financial management.
     
  5. 2020-A before/after tracing questionnaire survey design was conducted on 70 trainees from Taichung Area who completed the first-level course of food and agriculture education. The subjects were including school teachers, extension agents of  Farmers' Association and farmers. The result findings were that most of the participants in the training were concentrated in the middle and lower age women groups, the members were mostly farmers and teachers, with the most enthusiastic participants from Changhua County.  Respondents showed great satisfaction with the response to the Food and Agriculture Education curriculum, in particular "service quality satisfaction> "lecturer teaching satisfaction" > "course design satisfaction". Through this training course , It obviously strengthens the awareness of Food and Agriculture Education, the post-test score is significantly higher than the previous test, showing significant progress results. It also indicated a significant positive correlation effort between the factors of attitude and behavior intention on Food and Agriculture Education, and the positive attitude of advocators on Food and Agriculture Education will directly affect the behavior intention, and the attitude obviously enhances the behavior intention.
     
  6. 2020-Factor analysis was used to divide relationship bonds into functional and social dimensions and farming performance into financial and nonfinancial dimensions by questionnaires from 146 young farmers. The effects of personality traits and relationship bonds on farming performance are analyzed with multiple regression. The results show that there are significant correlation between farming performance and openness personality trait, also each relationship bonds dimensions, which social is more than functional one. Openness personality trait shows significant positive effects on functional and whole relationship bonds, otherwise on any dimensions and whole farming performance. Agreeableness personality trait shows significant positive effects on social relationship bonds.
     
  7. 2019-The aim of this qualitative study, employing semi-structured in-depth interviews, investigates the current practice, problems and approaches of labor dispatching pertaining to the Seasonal Agricultural Labor Shortage 2.0 Program in central Taichung. By means of purposive sampling, we interviewed 2 farmers, 3 pre-service agricultural specialists and a chief of manpower dispatching unit of Taichung agricultural technical group. The results show that agricultural technical labor shortage of fruit farms occurs during June to December, especially when intensive agricultural labor technical services, such as thinning fruit, bagging and harvesting is needed. Farm owners made an impression of active-learning on all quasi-agriculture specialists, and satisfied their passion and altitude toward working. On the other hand, the specialists believed that their passion on work and learning can affect the farm owner's evaluation. These quasi-agricultural specialists, who are dispatched regularly in labor shortage seasons, have obvious willing to work in agriculture in the future. Taichung agricultural technical services team could solve the problem of seasonal agricultural labor shortage in some farms effectively.
     
  8. 2019-The 64 sampling data was obtained from questionnaire survey on who passed the food and agriculture education course conducted in the central region. it is included with teachers, farmers' extension workers, farmers, etc. and the survey methods were taken through on questionnaire. The result findings were concluded as in followings: (a) Through the training course, the cognition of food and agriculture education were obviously strengthened, and the Pre/Post test analysis was significantly higher than that of the pretest, showing remarkable progress; (b) There was a significant positive correlation between the attitude and behavior Intention of food and agriculture education, and the positive attitude of the advocates towards the performance of food and agriculture education will directly affect the behavior Intention; and (c) There was a significant difference in the behavior Intention of food and agriculture education in both trainee's age and job's categories. Other factors such as in different counties, trainee's age, job's categories showed significant differences on to food and agriculture education.
     
  9. 2019-The purpose of the study was to explore the causal relationship and effect among relational bonds, collaborative alliance and cluster effect by recovering the questionnaires of 104 young fruit farmers in central Taiwan. The relational bonds between young farmers was classified into functional bonds and social bonds by factor analysis. The result showed that relational bonds, cooperation alliance had positive influence for cluster effect of young farmers by regression analysis. Functional bonds were positively related to cooperation alliance and cluster effect, and the social bonds were positively related to cluster effect. Through the intermediated effect of collaborative alliance, relational bonds had a positive impact on cluster effect.
     
  10. 2018-The study analyzed attitudes of respondents to Food and Agricultural Education and their training needs through questionnaires survey. The respondents include teachers and administrative staff of primary and secondary schools, extension agents of Farmers Association of Taichung city, Changhua County and Nantou county. A total of 537 effective questionnaires were collected. According to the 5 dimensions of the Food and Agricultural Educations in this study, the degree of consent on the attitude to Food and Agricultural Education by order series was Dietary Culture/ Behavior, Healthy Diet, Safe Production, Local Production for Local Consumption and Farming Education. The training needs of seed-leading teachers by order series was Healthy Diet, Local Production for Local Consumption, Safe Production, Dietary Culture/ Behavior and Farming Education. The attitudes of respondents to Food and Agricultural Education could predict the training needs of seed-leading teachers, the attitudes of Local Production for Local Consumption and Farming Education are important factors especially.
     
  11. 2018-This study used K-means cluster analysis method to classify young fruit farmers' risk-taking ability into conservative, moderate and moderate aggressive types by questionnaires. The result shows significant difference in farming condition and farming risk. The moderate aggressive type is better than conservative and moderate types in farming condition. The conservative type has lower farming risk than moderate aggressive and moderate types. In addition, according to the result of ANOVA, the main effective variables include working capital of the past three years, average revolving funds per year, owned land area, age, years of farming experience, main goal of farming, type of planting, acceptable price fluctuations for agricultural products, participation in farmer organizations, shared information with other farmers. The findings could be further used in evaluating young farmers' farmer condition and risk tolerance.
